Bathroom Tiles – Removing Glued On Tiles

By · August 26, 2011 · Filed in Bathroom Tile

My dad tiled a bathroom and used glue to make sure the tile stayed well now I am removing the tile. I would like to take the tile down and move it to another wall. What is the best way to remove the tile without damaging it? If the wall gets damaged that is ok because it is going to be removed.

Almost impossible to take on glued on tile with out damaging both the tile and the wall. One problem solved you don t care about the wall. Glue residue on the tile is very hard to take off. Sometimes impossible. You can attempt to scrape it off or if its a real thin mastic glue your new wall and back butter the tile as to take even out any lumps as you reset them. A lot of times you ll end up breaking more than its worth trying to save I wish you luck.
