@glowshimmerglow …
@glowshimmerglow its because it is easy once you learn how to do it.

They make it look …
They make it look so easy.

@gregvancom these …
@gregvancom these people dont seem to know what they are doing…its actually shocking…even the hammering the tile in place….its pure comedy.

@mrhairsaviour I …
@mrhairsaviour I have to agree, unless they go in a small shower.

only the british …

@chrisbc29 …
@chrisbc29 Apologies, I wasn’t trying to insult anyone. I know there are some contractors who really know what they’re doing, and it makes me happy to know they’re out there. It’s those “fly-by-nighters” who come by who scare the crap out of me. Starting in the center is the ideal way of doing it, but also I’ve always found it depends on what type of tile. Because you’re right, sometimes it’ll look funny by the time you get to the edge. =]

“Rinsing the sponge …
“Rinsing the sponge frequently in clean water” – checkout Bucket Ape. It gives nothing but clean water and you can rinse your sponge on every wipe. Plus it keeps you from having to haul the buckets of dirty water. Price is definitely good.

Dear lord… so …
Dear lord… so many little bitty tiles. So much grout to treat. Why not use larger tiles?

its all about the …
its all about the money .over chargeing assholes.

Hire a professional …
Hire a professional even though you can type how easy it is to install tile properly. Open time becomes a factor. Open time is the time that the thinset looses its adhesive qualities. It drys out and doesn’t form a bond. As far as grouting & liquid laytex additives make the grout set up alot faster. Call Tile by Design Inc 205 540 0317 for a professional job.

Another home depot …
Another home depot bid where the “DIYer” isn’t doing what the narrated says. Clean grout diagonally… And the guy isnt. Lulz

@xBloodXGusherx …
@xBloodXGusherx I’m pretty sure they forgot to think

Home Depot-You can do it, we can help!!

please, support your local lumberyard, tile store, hardware store, thats where you will find better selection and real experts, and support small business, not people who think this is good work. This video is up to standards of tiling a mcdonald’s washroom.

@ …
@cheeseboxproductions i’m sorry i’m not making fun of you, don’t insult contractors, a lot know more than you and can do a far superior job, hands down. Some bad, some great.

yes when tiling start from the centre of the room, always do 3,4, 5 for your layout as well, make sure you are square. If you start from the centre then all your “border” tiles will be the same on opposite sides, making a nice reveal. If you start from one end and your tile isn’t even with the length of room, oops

@cheeseboxproductions i’m sorry i’m not making fun of you, but you really don’t know much about tiling. Giving advice like that is bound to have very moisture prone bathrooms

So the home depot …
So the home depot flooring guy says “a contractor is lazy and will do an awful job”

that’s funny, i’m a contractor, and I work hard. Also I have years of experience and take pride in my work, it turns out quite well. I love how everyone at home depot thinks they are an expert because they attend some seminars, however in reality they are the jokes of the industry, everyone knows that you can’t ask them anything, they don’t know fu*& all…what is wrong with hiring a licensed tradesman?

@67tr876 well, …
@67tr876 well, common sense was only one of the ingredients that i listed.

@schapedo common …
@schapedo common sense my putting in tile was a btich and am not doing it no more !

This really helps …
This really helps me

I love all the ” …
I love all the “pros” hating on this vid. If you are a proffesional tiler, why in the are you watching a how to video from home depot? I guess you have plenty of time to waste since no one will hire you.

Im pretty sure they …
Im pretty sure they forgot to vacuum…

To be honest, this …
To be honest, this Home Depot video has better results than some of the work that paid “contractors” do (who hire their staff outside of Home Depot). Search for “bad tile job” and get ready to be horrified. Caveat Emptor. You get what you pay for – either in time, talent or treasure.

@thodem001 i bet …
@thodem001 i bet that particular person could rip all the tile out, buy more materials, redo the tile job, still come out better financially than highering a “professional”, and on top of that they have learned something. you live and you learn.

@schapedo how about …
@schapedo how about grouting over the nylon spacers a pro wouldn’t do that
